Making an appointment

“I am so very appreciative to everyone I met during my appointment. Everyone was so kind, knowledgeable, and supportive. I started my appointment nervous and feeling guilty, but left empowered in knowing how many women had been here before me, and knowing I had made the right decision for me and my family.”

Appointments can only be completed by phone and you must have an appointment to come to the clinic. We do not accept drop-ins. It usually takes 20 minutes to book an abortion appointment; appointment booking for other services is quick.
We ask for your patience as we know our phone lines can be really busy. We understand that waiting on hold is hard. You can always contact us via our booking request form below or leave us a voicemail and we will contact you as soon as we are able. Please note that this completing this form does not mean you have an appointment, but that we will contact you as soon as we can to arrange the appointment. If you need an urgent appointment it is fastest to wait on hold to book an appointment.  Also, Everywoman’s is currently only accepting new patients for  abortion and  miscarriage management. Urgent IUD services are on a case-by-case basis right now – please call us.

In order to receive virtual care or electronic communications from us you must read this page and complete the consent form

For everyone’s safety, only patients are allowed in the clinic.

Required information

You need to have had a positive pregnancy test before making an abortion appointment. A home test from a drug store kit is okay. You don’t need to see a doctor before making an appointment but we encourage you to get your pregnancy confirmed at a walk-in clinic or at your doctor’s office. If you do see a doctor about this pregnancy, please call before your procedure with the doctor/clinic name & telephone number or bring this information on the day of your appointment.

We will need to know the first day of your last period. If you have already had an ultrasound, please let us know the date of the ultrasound, where the ultrasound was done and number of weeks. We will need a copy of the ultrasound report faxed to our clinic.

We will need your MSP Care Card number. (If you do not have MSP coverage, please see our fees page.) We will also need your home address with postal code and the name of the person who will be your emergency contact/companion on the day of your appointment.

Feeling unsure?

If you’re not sure of your decision or need information about the abortion procedure or your pregnancy options, we can make an appointment for you with one of our counsellors. If you book an appointment for an abortion with us and then change your mind, or get an appointment with another clinic, please call us to cancel. We have a waiting list of those in need of a sooner appointment and we really appreciate your consideration of their needs.
