Abortion

I am so very appreciative to everyone I met during my appointment. Everyone was so kind, knowledgeable, and supportive. I started my appointment nervous and feeling guilty, but left empowered in knowing how many women had been here before me, and knowing I had made the right decision for me and my family.

While the decision to have an abortion may be complicated, an abortion procedure is not. An aspiration or medical abortion are both are simple and very safe medical procedures. Everywoman’s Health Centre offers both methods in a supportive, compassionate, and non-judgemental environment.

Abortion is very common experience; about one in three women in BC will have at least one. It is also one of the safest of medical procedures with very low rates of complication and risk. When you come to our clinic our staff will provide you with all the information you need. If you have BC medical coverage (MSP) there is no charge for our service. For more information see our fees page.

We hope you will find the following information helpful in providing more information about about abortion, your options, and aftercare. We have information on medical versus aspiration abortion at a glance and a more detailed comparison here.to help you decide which abortion method is best for you.
